Kent and Medway’s health and care employers are dedicated to working together to support our local community in developing the skills, values, and behaviours needed to join our exceptional workforce.
Health and care ambassadors are local professionals who volunteer their time to engage with students, jobseekers, and community members in Kent and Medway. Their goal is to help individuals understand their career options and provide the necessary information to get started
Health and care ambassadors
If you would like a health and care ambassador to visit your school, college, university, careers hub, jobcentre, event, or organisation, we would love to hear from you. Please use the contact forms below to reach out to the careers teams in your local area to request an ambassador.
In your request form, please include the following information:
- Your name, organisation, and contact details
- Date of the event
- Location of the event
- Type of event (e.g., careers fair, school assembly)
- Age and number of participants (e.g., key stage, students/jobseekers)
- Number of ambassadors required
Please provide any additional information that may help our careers leads find the appropriate ambassador for your event. Our ambassadors come from various professions, such as nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, management, and care. They are trained to share information about all career pathways in health and care however the details you provide will help us ensure we match the best ambassador to your needs.
We request that, whenever possible, requests are submitted six weeks in advance of the event to allow us to coordinate with our ambassadors’ work schedules.
